I feel there’s a strong correlation between conservatives & religion.

for me not at all. i dont like overly religious people, my uncle is a born again and he will literally walk up to people and preach to them. but i also dont like people that bash religion as well. i fully understand why someone would go to church, it gives them hope and a sense of community.

I bash it because it’s pretty dumb to believe in any of the current religions. But believing in a “god” or something in general I can somewhat understand so I don’t critique that.

The preachy s*** is annoying for sure, it’s just interesting how the vast majority of religious people vote right wing to me.

Everyone gets there values from somewhere. I used to not care for religion but as I’ve grown older and have become removed from youth culture, I find religion is much more grounded in our base instincts then what’s provided in the secular world.
