HaroldsChickenLeaning towards it. As long as reviews dont say "crazy amount of backtracking and map is trash" . Alan Wake 2 improved on that a lot but on the off chance Control is messy with that. Combat looks like it can vary enough but 30 hours is a lot . Confirm the boss fights fire and I am there day 1.
There are some reviewers hinting that this is their game of the year so far so I will be there. Lol just wish we were all starting same time. I am gonna have to marathon to catch up to the ps5 gamers
Yeah I saw some people say GOTY didn’t drop yet lol. If it reviews like that I’m afraid I’ll get FOMO and buy it. So many games dropping though idk when I’d play through it.

That’s the middle of my work week this week so prob wouldn’t get the 2 days early version. It is tempting though to get the standard version. Game looks pretty fun.

This is really dope. I love when stuff like this exists for you to take it or leave it. You can look into it and get more out of the lore of the game but you won’t miss out if you never know this existed

I truly believe there is almost no chance this game is less than an 8/10
After control and Alan wake 2 I have complete faith. Reminds of when an artist has a great album followed by a classic, they hit their stride and you know whatever comes next is gonna have a certain level of quality regardless

If this game can merge the multi-media style storytelling at the same level as Alan Wake 2 with far better gameplay mechanics then you’re looking at a an all-timer.

This could be the one man.
Probably not jumping in until the physical releases in October though since I’m gonna be juggling Fire Emblem and Silent Hill Townfall.
Hell, I’ll probably still be playing the former by the time Control’s physical drops.
