trying to go shopping for a whole month this weekend. going to the store every other day is seriously killing my pockets.
what’s some necessities y’all always got on deck? besides pasta, rice and potatoes
so far i’ve wrote down:
canned beans, chickpeas, tomatoes and frozen vegetables
btw i have a big sweet tooth
always keep some eggs, sandwich meat, and cheese. chicken breasts in the freezer, maybe some ground beef too
bananas, almond milk, berries, cereal, some packs of ramen, tuna, flour, sugar/ brown sugar, vegetable oil, butter
easy everyday stuff imo would be pasta and chicken + rice dishes, sandwiches, oats
also some everyday meal recipes would be very much appreciated
Yeah sorry, going to get back to this thread. Will be cooking some tacos tonight!
I tried that "The Menu" (2022) last meal
But seriously, one thing i learned is to cook the 'french toast',
i followed a well known chef instructions from here;
obviously it was my first try, i can improve alot
no, beef
and in a skillet, so not 100% authentic
Sounds amazing brother!
This will be for tomorrow but I cooked it tonight. Used 3 Jalapeno's, ground beef, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, yellow adobo, ground red anchor chili pepper, and a few others. Going to be great!
i appreciate your consistent positivity
Thanks! Although wouldn't say that positivity is always there, the cooking thread is always positive to help people out and share recipes!
peel potatoes and slice them into wedges. Mix them with olive oil and herbes de prevence. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes and you'll have tasty and cheap potato wedges

Eggs dont really go bad that fast so not sure why you need to freeze them
Bad grammar on my end I would assume you’d know I wasn’t talking about freezing the eggs. I’ll fix the post 😔
