His name was Kenneth “Greedy” Jones, age 35. He was in the passenger seat and was d*** out of the car after refusing to get out cuz he told the cops they have no reason to make him get out.

They shot him while they had him pressed up against the car, and fired when one office claimed to have seen a weapon on his person. (How you supposed to be a threat with that weapon when your hands are up against a car???) Confirmed 6 shots were fired by OPD. Two hit Greedy, one to the head and one to the back.

I’m so sick of this s*** man

even more sickening if you make the mistake of entering the comment sections on these articles smh I just mute the ignorant s*** so I don't have to see it from that user anymore but still disappointing and infuriating in some cases

Cops decided to attack and brutalize people and shoot tear gas with no warning on a small protest of about 100 people who were all on the sidewalks doing nothing illegal. Fist fights between cops and protestors ensued before cops were ultimately forced to retreat

Tomorrow is going to get crazy

I feel like quite a few of them WANT to kill and that's why they sign up for the force in the first place...they already have that bully mentality built in and this (in their mind) just gives them an excuse to go all the way with it and kill people...no other excuse really unless you wanna argue their training needs to be improved as far as learning to shoot where it has the least chance of being lethal

the ones who don't want to kill but do it anyways are usually dipshits just freezing in the moment and f***ing up...kinda like the cop in Blindspotting he sort of shoots out of impulse it seems and then later on it's shown that it's eating away at him

True. I think alot of cops are in the force because it gives them a sense of power and authority. This is just f***in ridiculous.

I saw some of the live video smh love how the news outlets are quick to use "things got violent so cops had to get violent too" without showing or saying what violence came from the protesters in the first place...just like that b**** ass OPD statement yesterday which doesn't even bother to mention why they were stopped in the first place and immediately asked to put their hands outside the window...shady s*** but doesn't surprise me at all with the OPD

they like to say "a few bad apples" but I really do think it's the opposite...I always like to tell this story but years ago me and a friend of mine (I'm white he's black) were walking from my house back to his apartment (this is in Sarpy County for @Sinewave lol)...we're walking through this neighborhood doing nothing suspicious or illegal when a cop car pulls up by us and the cops exit the vehicle...they start questioning us and saying they have reports of people going door to door selling magazine subscriptions without a permit (American Honey type s***)...I was carrying a brown case of cd's at the time which I always had with me and they said we matched their description...I open up to show them that they are in fact just cd's yet they still get into it with my friend saying things like "oh we know who you are" and "I don't know if we can believe that"...snarky bullshit...whole time they're hassling us there's a car parked illegally down the street and kids who were clearly underage smoking cigarettes yet they're completely oblivious to this...they finally get back in their cars and leave (still ignoring the illegal parking and underage smoking)...we continue walking and about a block or two down the street we see this hippie looking dude sitting on the curb...we sarcastically warned him cops are hassling people about selling magazines without a permit at which point he says..."oh well that's funny bc I'm selling magazines but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one of us in this area"...he looked NOTHING like either of us...they just hassled us to try and catch us slipping for something else and highly doubt they would have if they didn't "know" my friend or if I was by myself...that's Sarpy cops not OPD of course but still some a******s

it's something we laugh about now but at the time it wasn't very fun...I was the one giving them the attitude and they were being more respectful to me than they were my friend who didn't start talking s*** until they began making those comments about him after looking our names up...fuck those incompetent idiots

Sarpy cops are a special type of psycho. Only county I will never speed in under any circumstances. They are the worst

  • Nov 21, 2020

like Andre 3000 said when I hear that another black kid is shot by the popo it aint even an event

  • Nov 21, 2020

More details: after refusing to open the door to get out of the car, the cops proceeded to SMASH KENNETHS WINDOW WITH A FLASHLIGHT to unlock the door before dragging him out and killing him

I’ll update OP with everything eventually but pressed for time with everything going on so this is the easiest way to do it right now

It was insane bro. The cops just started bucking out of no where, no one saw that s*** coming with that small of a protest. 2 of my homies had to go to the hospital for billy club wounds and taking pepper spray point blank to the face

they can lie about that s*** all they want but footage doesn't lie...same thing with the protests downtown by the Hive months back...I watched the entire thing from the cops kneeling in solidarity with the protesters to literally walking over them and beating the s*** outta ppl 10 minutes later after a bottle was supposedly thrown (conveniently not caught on video)...again defended it by saying the protest turned violent when really the majority of the ppl just refused to leave the "unlawful assembly" when they were asked to
