James Gray was on the big picture pod and mentioned that insurance rates for production have skyrocketed because of COVID
Didn't even think about this but he said it's way more than you'd imagine
Yeah bruh only capeshit and oscarbait The rest of the decade
How is the drive in theater market looking where y’all at?
They need to do that s*** forreal
Wonder how much the CEO is making
Tbh the one good thing about all of this is we got a year off from comic book movies. With all the movies and shows marvel announced and 2019 being stacked with comic book movies it’s nice to have a break. 2020 we probably would of gotten super hero fatigue now. Next year everything will come out and we’ll feel refreshed and be dying to see black widow.
How quick y'all going back?
My state isn’t likely to open until mid September
Hopefully by then there will be enough data to show how safe it really is
Regardless I’m seeing Tenet during a super early weekday or late weeknight, f*** going to the movies during the weekend right now lmao

Right, but I think it should be done in one transaction and then block the seats, it’s risky but at the same time i get people buying tickets separately
I just hope people don’t buy seats next to others lmao

my theatre has been forcing two space gaps between seats in all bookings
Wonder if some films that feature large crowd scenes with tons of extras are gonna need to be rewritten or anything.
Unless they decide to have every single person in those types of scenes tested over and over again.
