ThomForkCA (a MASSIVELY populated area) has like 4 times less cases than the state of New York. Shocked NY hasn't done this already, so hopefully this is a push for NY to go ahead and do so.
Especially cause we have the highest number of cases in the country

plantsGovernment has a raging hardon for what this means. like I said earlier itt it's like 9/11 in slow motion. Our rights gonna be rolled way back in the name of public safety. Privacy gonna go even further towards the way of the dinosaurs. Not only is this bad economically and obviously because people are dying, but what the government will do in the coming year really frightens me.

The flu has something like a 0.1% mortality rate, where as covid-19 has a closer to a 4% mortality rate.
So if flu infected 1 million people, ~1,000 people would die
If covid infected 1 million, ~40,000 would die
