ChasubiFirst confirmed case in my county. All the news said it was a lady over 60 who had caretakers. My girlfriend works for a retirement care facility and told me one of her co-workers who had a very recent trip to Mexico was asked to leave after her client got a fever. Not I'm wondering if I got something cause my head's been feeling a little warm and I feel a bunch of phlegm in my throat, or if this just cause spring.

He's almost in tears saying stay the f*** indoors because he's never seen anything like this before and in the following weeks they'll crumble under pressure if it continues. He's talked with US hospitals in NY and they're in the same boat, they're almost full.

Different type of virus. Humans already immune to many strains of influenza. This is a new coronavirus and humans have never been in contact with this strain (because it came from another animal) so nobody is immune to it, and in theory every person on earth could get it.
This is more deadly, more contagious, causes more hospitalizations and health complications.
Also wanna clarify the flu is different from the common cold. Idk why people keep saying things like it's just a flu. If you've ever had the flu you know that s*** is 2 weeks of hell.
