If Masks dont help then why are they buying $500m of masks?

Doesn’t help with preventing but helps with spreading if you have it from what I’ve been told

makes sense so the deaths should go down the next 2 weeks?

9/11 aftermath still has me taking off my belt every time I fly so idk man

Also reallllllly depends on the country still tho, for most yeah you’re right.

But back in 2011 i was on a family trip, & when we were flying out of turkey my mom was like oh s***. Totally forgot she’d brought a bottle of pop/water for each of us to drink on the car ride over.

She didnt realize till security & was like, you want me to throw these away? ‘Oh nono, just YOU cant have that many. You need to divide them yo amoung your family’

And the guy in front of us in the line, after some deliberation was allowed to bring his cutlery set in his carry on.

9/11 a huge deal, but its reach wont be as universal as covid-19

yup would’ve quit immediately if i was still working at a grocery store, both for my safety and others and bc the same s*** pay is the same s*** pay, crisis be damned

these ppl literally on the front lines of this s*** and at risk more than any office employee still at work rn (which is still high)

our government is failing us again but this is absolutely devastating

Don’t think I could be paid $100/hr to work retail right about now

s*** has me dead bruh like they don’t get it till someone within their family dies. Guess it takes more deaths till they realize it’s serious.

Because it has a 2 week lag and everyone in the world is too stupid to realize this

What you’re seeing now is people infected at the beginning of March that are now dying

9/11 didn't get whole cities across the globe put on indefinite lockdown or cause entire sports seasons and music festivals to be cancelled and it didn't cause 500+ deaths per day in certain countries.

9/11 changed the way the entire world operated, not just in airports
curbed massive amounts of liberty for americans

Those dumb ass spring breakers are going back home all across the US now, some of them are spreading the virus unknowingly.

No.. people might “recover” but many more will die first as their infrastructure is now facing near max capacity

if this goes on Italy won’t have anymore old people. This sounds crazy but wouldn’t the lack of old people help the hospitals to recover?

a lot of poor countries won't care as much for this

they are already crippled by malaria/other worse things and are used to people dying in the dirt (as bad as that sounds)

It’s so sad because they’ve not even been on quarantine for 2 weeks and on martial law lockdown for like 2 days since no one listens there

This s*** is gonna keep popping EVERYWHERE

Curbing liberties for Americans != massive impact on world.

9/11 mostly impacted the West and the Middle East. COVID-19 is impacting the entire world.
