Because he is PM and was leading the fight against Covid19 within the UK. Regardless of how you feel about him, you can surely see that losing the PM during this time is not ideal, and will delay and cause issues within government. You celebrating and wanting him to die is counterproductive in combating Covid19.

Although I would not celebrate his death I think it is extremely clear that him dying would cause everyone to look in the mirror and understand how serious this situation is. A much needed wake-up call. It would cause government to step up and act in the interests of the many not the few, and cause the general public to gain a better understanding of the lockdown and social distancing.

If you are suggesting the best method to combating Covid19 is to scare the public into believing it is an extremely dangerous virus, then you are going to cause panic and disruption. What about the people who must work? You want them to go to work everyday feeling scared? It is counterproductive to scaremonger people into cooperation. That is very foolish. Very foolish indeed.

The best outcome here is for Boris to survive and to continue the fight against this virus with the data and information we now have at hand. He will also have first hand experience of the seriousness of it.
