So if/when we get hit by the 2nd wave in September or October, what’s to stop Trump from preventing GOP governors from locking down their respective states and refusing to deploy any assistance whatsoever to the country as whole, while simultaneously telling his base/Republicans that the virus is finished in order to encourage them to vote, while putting people who would vote for Biden (or whoever) in a position where they have to choose between their personal health or the ability to vote?

There are gonna be Trump supporters who are going to actively weaponize this virus (i.e Intentionally coughing in the voting booth, blocking the doors so you HAVE to get in close proximity etc.)

And GOP controlled states are going to do everything in their power to prevent vote-by-mail, possibly even close more voting stations if possible.

Just got off LIveChat with my local unemployment agency after trying to reach them for 2 days straight...

They still need to implement the stimulus package into people's claims and she said I should see it by the next time I certify on 4/20 (lol). She did seem to verify that I filed correctly and that now I just need to wait (She didn't seem to understand my questions because she was being kinda vague like she doesn't actually know, or idk maybe she thought I was stupid for wasting her time)

But basically, anything I see right now in terms of my wages on my claim, is pretty much subject to change.

They said it will be effective for the week ending on 04/04/20, but my s*** still says the same amount it did last week (aka, baby money). I spoke with a rep and they said it could still take a week to 'program' it in, but by my next certification it should be active.
