So at least by those metrics, it took 5-6 years for economy to get back to where it was before 2008. By accounts of this being worse and barring any major international conflicts/another event, this still f***s the majority of the next decade.

Any and all talk about when lockdowns end rn seems silly to me. Imo its so apparent we're taking this one day at a time with no clue how s***s going to turn out, even in China where they opened Zoos/Cinemas just to close them again. The Health Minister(?) of Quebec showed stats for how he thinks this will play out by the end of April, and then said any further predictions would be more akin to Astrology than Science, and I really believe that.
