properI know aesthetics is the least of our worries right now but honestly think the regular face masks ppl are wearing make a lot of ppl look better than w/o the mask cause everyone looks pretty/handsome from the eyes up
Ah personally I kinda dislike em, I smile at people a lot and way less people smile back now that I wear one

Thought i had a fever few days ago but every time i checked my temp it was 97-98. also had pretty bad chills and chest pains. after getting tested i think i’m starting to recover, just normal cold/flu symptoms. i’m also a daily smoker (weed/cigs) so i could have just got lucky with it not being that bad

it's a good d*** but it's only really useful if you're just getting infected to stop the viral replication
think of it like an anti-hiv d*** that helps to stop the development of serious acute outcomes like aids
it's not that effective for covid due to the long asymptomatic period which means you'd only get the treatment at a later time

Is there any info on how early they gave it to patients in the study Fauci is talking about?
Because presumably those patients were already tested positive (and thus were far enough along to already have fairly serious symptoms due to testing protocol in most places)

"The main goal of the study is the time until patients improve, with different measures of improvement depending on how sick they were to begin with. While the result means that the d*** helps patients improve faster, it is not possible to say how dramatic those improvements are."

It's called taking precaution.
Not saying it can’t happen to anyone. It’s clear that young people can die from this too. But chances are if you get sick you’ll be fine. It’s important to take precautions but also to be realistic

They’re making it mandatory to wear masks starting May 1st while out. What are some decent masks that aren’t hard to breath out of? I had a n 95? Mask and at times it was hard breathing, especially when it was warm asf.
