If the usual weekly trend holds of Saturday/Sunday/Monday being fairly low in reporting, this is basically guaranteed to be the least deadly 7 day stretch of the pandemic since early April. Outside of that one day when NY retroactively reported 500 deaths, it has, thankfully, been relatively quiet.

If so, yes, I do not care about a virus that we have medication and a vaccine for as much as something that we dont know what it is exactly, young people are dying from it too (which doesnt really happen from the flu) and most importantly we have no cure or vaccine yet.

When people talk about how Influenze takes around 500k lives every year, what they are not counting in though, is that like 90% of those deaths is in 3rd world countries. Nobody in sweden or other developed european countries dies from the flu unless there is severe complications.

What we are seeing with Corona is that 1st world countries cannot handle this s*** and don't know how to deal with it yet.

So yes, I do not give one single f*** about quarantine for a virus that we have a vaccine and medicine for compared to Covid.
