Mfers thinking theyll be fine cause they can get put on a ventilator without realizing how s***ty of a process that is
Like the guy in that pic got a f***ing trach, who wants that s***????? 😭😭

lol nothing much you and i can do but just take care of ourselves at this point. People really wont change their ways until an event such as a family member being severely ill or dying from this occurs, unfortunately
I still think bout that brazilian freak on quarantine radio a month ago

Terrible
Crazy if you know that they only test around 100,000 times every day right now
Just wait til they increase their testings soon...
Preliminary studies suggest that not all individuals who test positive for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies are immunized against the virus
Initial evidences suggest that the 44% of people with mild or asymptomatic infection have very low antibody levels with little neutralizing capacity | According to these results, a positive antibody test may not guarantee protection against SARS-CoV-2
"The first tests performed with plasma from people who have been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 and have generated neutralizing antibodies against the virus suggest that 44% of people who have been mildly or asymptomatically infected have a very low level of neutralizing antibodies, and half of these have no neutralizing activity, indicating that they may not be protected against a second infection. This trend is reversed in people who have had severe disease, who have up to 10 times more antibodies than individuals with mild infection. In view of this fact, scientists emphasize the need to maintain hygiene and social distancing measures, as the presence of antibodies may not guarantee immunity to the coronavirus.
These are preliminary data from the consortium formed by the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute together with the Animal Health Research Center (IRTA-CReSA) of the Institute for Agri-Food Technology and Research (IRTA) and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), with the support of the pharmaceutical company Grifols."

And that it would get really bad there and the virus might mutate
4chan also predicted BTC would be at 100K last year

“We decided to ask for help from those who have gone through this. The experts from Shanghai and Wuhan gave us recommendations for patient management. We were told that it is key that a mild or moderate patient does not become severe. They explained that they used hydroxychloroquine for this, but never azithromycin (an antibiotic for respiratory infections) due to the associated cardiac complications,” Ruiz said.
prior countries had said that hydro worked for them from time to time, it got banned here bc of the azith...shit. FOr some reason, hospitals here were using the two in conjunction and it had virtually no signs of being better for patients + alot more strokes
in either case, I wish that the president wouldnt keep telling people to try things on their own with no medical knowledge, thats whats harmful
Just one day of data after weeks of slow decline, but there are a LOT of US cases today, more than there has been in a couple of weeks. I haven't gone in and checked to see if percentage of positive tests is roughly the same as before to judge if testing increases are behind today's spike. It's likely a mix of testing and the relaxing of lockdown measures.
The good news: deaths are staying low. Like 200-300 daily behind this point a week ago, and that adds up. Overall, deaths are 34% below where they were in mid April.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: the long term goal is not to keep everyone from catching SARS-CoV-2. It's to make it not a big deal. Keep a close eye on death totals and hospitalizations because they will determine the movements we can make.
I totally understand wanting to go sit down at a restaurant, but what’s the point when there’s all these rules and everyone’s mad uncomfortable and s***? Why do you have to be at a restaurant that bad?
these crackers in alabama have so much hate in their heart, and they havent been by any minorities in a while, so they gotta spew it at the "government" (the same government officials that they voted for)
24.8 Americans unemployed rn
25.6 the highest during the Great Depression
we almost there
Next week whewwww
President Donald Trump on Thursday said “we are not closing our country” if the U.S. is hit by a second wave of COVID-19.
His comments come on the same day that the United States reported another 2.4 million Americans applied for unemployment benefits last week. That brings the total of new unemployment claims to more than 38 million in nine weeks.
In reference to states like California which have not reopened as quickly as others Trump said, “I don’t think the people are going to stand for it.” Yet Texas, North Carolina and Arizona have reported spiking numbers of cases as they’ve moved into reopening.
