NoirI don't understand the enormous gap in data between Worldometers and Covidtracking. Worldometers reported over 2900 new cases in Cali but Covidtracking only reported 2175 new positives when they use the same source, which has the same total as Covidtracking:

Maybe Worldometers reports multiple tests per individual? Antibody tests?

There was a backlog from last Friday that got added onto LA's numbers, that's why they're 800 higher than usual.

Yeah it looks like the official statewide sources are a day behind the actual data, but the counties are up to date. Must take some time to compile everything from the individual counties.

Today, the US reported half of last Tuesday's total, and this is coming off a holiday weekend where one would presume a big spike was coming.
We wouldn't see a spike immediately after the holiday. 10-14 days from now will be the test
