lets see ur sound science pls cause who been s***ting the bed the past few months we aint listening to them
this is exactly what I was about to say, he himself is only parroting that report so much bc it fits his slant!
WHO worse than facebook posters at this point

IDK any more than he does and I dont think the WHO is doing much more than shooting 50/50 on some of these reports. It would make sense if asymps had a lower chance of spreading this thing airborne, but just like with other viruses, if ur swapping fluids, I dont see how you dont transmit it
but I think we're still in the conjecture phase on at least 90% of how this disease works, and Im doing the same thing

i agree, im curious to see how being infected but being asymptomatic causes the virus to lay dormant in the individual and not cause it to transmit, it just doesnt go along with anything that ive learned about regarding the pathophysiology of any disease
This is crazy
Over half of people tested in Italy's Bergamo have COVID-19 antibodies
"Of 9,965 residents who had blood tests between April 23 and June 3, 57% had antibodies indicating they had come into contact with the coronavirus, the survey showed.
Health authorities in Bergamo said the results were based on a “random” sample which was “sufficiently broad” to be a reliable indicator of how many people had been infected in the province, which became the epicentre of Italy’s outbreak.
In a separate statement issued later, the Bergamo health agency said that most of those in the sample were residents of the worst-hit areas. Many had already been put under quarantine, the statement added.
Antibodies were found in just over 30% of the 10,404 health operators tested although they are generally considered more at risk than other people."

antibody tests are a total crapshoot
no antibody test right now is even close to being accurate. thats why most scientists/doctors don't even take them seriously.

this the s*** that pisses me off more than anything, cause im such an inquisitive person and Id like to know just to know personally

virologydownunder.com/influenza-virus-transmission-with-or-without-symptoms-youre-dropping-flu-virus
Study on ferrets as well as data collection suggests asymptomatic carriers of the SARS coronavirus (THIS IS NOT COVID19 THE STUDY IS FROM BEFORE COVID19) have a much lower chance of spreading the virus than symptomatic carriers due to the fact that instead of spreading through coughing or sneezing or runny noses, it spreads through breathing and occasionally through talking. This doesn’t mean the virus can’t be spread through asymptomatic carriers but the likeliness is much lower. This is the first one i could find in a sea of covid19 reports.

I don’t recall saying anything about a virus being dormant because the carrier is asymptomatic btw.
La about to look real spooky soon
I protested twice in the past three days, but kept it to smaller groups of 40-50 so I could practice social distancing. I'm not ready for crowds of this size yet.

They aren’t “crapshoot”
It shows perfectly how many people in Italy had it and that the official numbers are bullshit.
But you don’t want to hear that because it’s something positive right
if this thing was any more deadly we'd probably be in the end game lol
This.
Millions of people in Italy had it. That s*** isn’t that deadly. Of course it’s worse than a normal flu but we know way more about it right now.

pretty funny how Newsom held out soooo long and planned to reopen slowly and then suddenly there’s thousands of people gathering everyday

they are tho. scientists still don't know how to test for this coronavirus. there was a peer reviewed study released that explained the antibody test is close to 50% false positive, which is terrible

What is "the" antibody test? There are multiple antibody tests hawked by various companies, which is part of the problem.
Some are very accurate, some are extremely inaccurate. The question is which one is being offered to you and how can you be sure of its accuracy? I'm not sure a patient can ask that question and receive a straight answer.
