I feel you but I mean people was just as unsure before the first stimulus came out. Even I found it hard to believe that not only was we getting a $1200 check but also $600 + regular unemployment a week. Which now I’m actually making double vs when I was actually working so I’m staying optimistic

Because for whatever reason, a lot of people in the US seem to perceive themselves as completely independent, as if they don’t realize they’re part of a society that functions specifically due to the cooperation of EVERYONE.

Everything ultimately hinges on the efforts of us all, yet you’d think we all existed on our own individual islands that we built from the ground up from scratch.

The whole “only young people are getting it now, so it’s fine. Open back up” argument is insanely idiotic bc the whole idea of a virus spreading is that it spreads to other people that are not going out all the time without a mask to get f***ing drinks. The point of staying home and social distancing is to not expose yourself and then expose others who are being responsible. We seem to forget that.

Not to mention the POTUS has done nothing but to antagonize the opposition instead of trying to bring the nation together. If he was president immediately after 9/11, he mightve ended up inciting a massive war
