I flew this last week and it was really good I thought.

The seating was organized, we were spaced out, they send you in waves. I liked it

I just feel like the people saying “we’ll get past this” and “we just want things to go back to normal” are being so dismissive of the people getting hit the hardest by this, because the reality is things are going to be very difficult for a lot of people. It’s hard to think about, but a lot of people aren’t going to survive this and everything is not going to be alright. We can’t close our eyes and wait this s*** out again and hope things get better. People in power need to be held accountable and something has to be done to help people. That is not happening right now.

just really s***ty group of people going there and a lot of issues with weirdos coming on campus. got in a pretty big confrontation with a stranger a couple weeks into first semester and it kinda went downhill from there

Confrontation? Did this person turn a non issue into something unnecessary or Sumn ?

I think the idea that there is going to be a “swift recovery” is fantasy, so there needs to preparations made by the National Guard to increase the amount of food being distributed to people in need. There needs to either be a rent freeze or rent relief enacted by the federal government to prevent people from being kicked out of their homes. And there needs to be more support for the unemployed and working poor in general. A lot of people are out of work. Tons of businesses are closing for good. People are getting evicted left and right and have no more options. These people had their lives ruined because of some s*** out of their control and now they’re stuck wondering what to do and have no resources.

I know in my city there’s been a noticeable increase in the amount of people on the street asking for money. We are in a crisis that is only going to get worse and nothing is being done about it. It’s clear the White House doesn’t care about this and is banking on economic crisis working itself out, which it won’t.

The plan now is just to close our eyes and hope things get better and hope people don’t starve, and don’t die, and don’t become homeless, and don’t resort to desperate actions, and that’s not really a plan at all is it?
