One of my coworkers told me its only n95 masks that work and the regular cloth masks aint doin s*** to stop the spread. True or false?

the thought process behind masks that smooth brains cant comprehend this many months into the pandemic is that everyone needs to wear one in order to stop spreading their own droplets via their own spit.

the virus travels primarily thru droplets, and any barriers (such as a cloth mask) helps reduce the spread. N95s are used for airborne diseases, which covid-19 currently isnt classified as (its under droplet precautions atm)

They just opened the outdoor facilities at my apartment complex. Mini soccer field, swimming pool, BBQ area, and children's playground. From Brazil btw None of the 7 kids at the field are wearing masks
