if you notice any bad signs of breathing don't be afraid to go to the hospital.
The brutal part they don't tell you about being unemployed and job hunting is having to pretend like you're confident and worth hiring no matter what. Like sure you can spam 100 applications a day but if you get to the interview phase and project no self confidence, you're probably not getting the job.
So yeah when you're job hunting, do what you gotta do to build your confidence up. Read books on positive thinking and optimism, find ways to get small wins every day, get on tinder and make s*** happen, whatever you gotta do. Because at the end of the day nobody is going to chase you down. You have to get your ass up and find them.
I'm a high school English teacher. Budgets are constricted here and hiring has slowed a lot. When August rolled around and school started, I pretty much gave up hope on finding anything for the semester. But then my wife was like wtf are you doing, you can't give up on like that, we need you. Stayed up until 5 AM one morning churning out applications to schools and within 3 weeks I had a great job. Didn't even remember sending an application there! But hey f*** it, things worked out. The key was that somebody forced me to keep trying when things looked bleak, so I'm telling you the same thing.
I hope things work out with your unemployment. It's a damn shame that our government is such a disaster and can't look after its people when they get f***ed over.
You're right about being confident, fake it till you make it like they say it. There's so much faking when it comes to getting a job that being honest will only hurt you.
Man I'm not going to lie, when I was with my ex before she broke up in March, I had confidence and motivation in me. I just knew at the back of my head I had to keep moving up and stay on top of my game. After the break up, that kind of changed for me. I mean, I know I have to move forward and keep gridding, but it's not the same when you feel lonely af and lost.
Pandemic and this economic turmoil only makes everything 2x harder. But it is what it is, we have to adopt and keep moving forward. I'm positive that I will find something eventually, even if it's not related to my field.

bro wtf
Gotta be honest. I thought the US numbers would be worse today. Especially Florida. I expected 4-6k for Florida
Well, ffs, someone at a meeting I was at smfh was exposed to Covid. They had it without telling anyone. No one was wearing a mask EXCEPT for me
Tbh guys I don’t mind wearing the mask even though it’s not preferred but hey Thank God for looking out for me. Getting tested and Lord willing, I’ll come back clean. I don’t feel different, I’ve been doing the normal precautions in wearing a mask and social distancing. I’m pretty isolated as I do photography and my office is on the other side of the building. I keep minimal contact with everyone.

4,500 new cases in Wisconsin is insane though.
I’ve posted a few times about my grandad who has very severe dimentia and he’s been in a nursing home for about a month.
But someone in that b**** gave him COVID and now s*** isn’t looking good. He isn’t breathing in his own and doesn’t respond to commands and won’t even open his eyes.
Smh. I’m thinking this might be it cause this year just been going from bad to worse for him

I don't understand how we got to this point as a country. Straight up embarrassing and hamulating to know the leader doesn't care about this country and yet his supporters are completely blinded by everything.
My trip to Florida in a couple weeks is looking like an absolutely terrible decision
