People were holding anti mask rallies in Germany a few days ago. I wonder who is Alex Jones of Germany on radio-tv-social media? Because they had children seniors teenagers in masses shouting about masks in droves. It was surreal. They believe a mask is a symbol of tyranny. I can’t even imagine the next outbreak of something what the reaction will be? They just hate masks. 😳

but see (antimask) people in US think that europe is some 100% mask compliance universe when in reality it's not.

So my wife has been symptomatic with a lingering cough, fatigue, shortness of breath and limited sense of smell for 14 days and tested positive last Wednesday. She's totally stable at this point and is just getting annoyed that things are progressing so slowly. But overall she seems to be on the mend. Our daughter had really mild symptoms for a day or two but seems fine.

I have no idea wtf is going on with me though. I have had bouts of runny nose and congestion 10 days ago and again over the weekend, lessened lung capacity and one night of gastrointestinal stuff but have tested negative twice in that time. The nurse who gave me the last test said I should go in to check for antibodies on Thursday if I'm asymptomatic.

Honestly part of me was hoping for a positive test this morning so I could know why I've been feeling crappy. Before my wife tested positive we weren't distancing at all, which was like 9 days. The thought from my doctor's office is that it's possibly a mild case that's been cleared out to the point that it's not showing up. My best guess is that I was exposed 16 days ago and my wife was exposed 18 days ago. So I guess we'll see what the antibody test says.

Oh I’m not arguing that. I’m saying the problem is the spread of the virus even in a quick March around the town square with a small sample, that’s dangerous for a whole country.

There is no Alex Jones type on TV. Closest thing are some celebrities which believe in NWO and Q-Anon who started some telegram groups.

Yeah it’s real bad. I wish people wouldn’t resist the simplest of precautions to feel like they’re being liberated.

damn bro, my prognosis has been the same. i got it from an uber driver a week ago, but other than feeling a little lung pain the first 2 days after i was exposed, i've largely been asymptomatic

Any recent news on post-covid immunity? I like to think that since I just had it I should be fine for the winter but who knows

Yeah what sucks is that lung pain and shallow breathing doesn't necessarily mean you have it badly or are even going to test positive; the ground glass opacity stuff happens even to asymptomatic cases. So I'm just sitting here like, well, if I've been around the s*** for over two weeks and this is where I'm at, I guess it's pretty unlikely I'm going to get a lot worse but f***, is this how I'm going to feel for months?

This s*** is very serious and the people around me didn't even get it badly like that. It didn't affect my wife at all like the flu. It's been more like an extended mild case of bronchitis.

I'm hearing at least 3 months of immunity, which should get you a month or two from when the vaccines start rolling out.
