the average non-elderly person won't see the vaccine until fall 2021
Summer*. Im an essential worker too so

I’m down for mandatory as long as it’s 100% safe. Stick it to these crazies
Summer*. Im an essential worker too so
Essential workers like teachers, factory workers, pharmacy and grocery store employees, etc. will probably get theirs in February or March. Illinois is preparing a priority list this week that could prove to be influential for other states.
Wouldn't be surprised if the general public has to wait until July and it takes all the way through the fall to get the necessary number of people vaccinated.
If you're vaccinated way ahead of everyone else, it's still possible to get sick to some degree, but apparently not a single person in the Moderna trial got severe covid. So in that circumstance your chances of needing to be hospitalized because of the disease are minimal.

It’s crazy, I thought it was more a US thing but seeing pop up all over EU now as well. All it takes is a youtube video and everyone is thinking decades of trchnology advancement is built upon lies
So I guess NY healthcare workers will be the first in the country to get vaccinated, which definitely makes sense. Good to finally start making real progress here soon

Girlfriend works in a nursing home, it's really taking a toll on her. Someone so young doesn't deserve to see all this first hand, she's always shaking.

UK approves Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and could begin vaccinations next week
The UK has become the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for widespread use. The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency said it was safe to be rolled out. Studies found the vaccine has a 95% efficacy rate. The health secretary Matt Hancock said: "The NHS stands ready to start vaccinating early next week."
