The Black Death took decades to end dumbass, if you're gonna be a doomsday preacher get your facts straight
In my country it lasted 3-4 years
I know it never went away, but the crazy times lasted 3-4 years
ssh don't tell him
Just telling what the news are reporting in my country
No need to try and make me feel mentally ill
lmao this is more comparable to spanish flu not the plague 😂
and with this spanish flu young people were dying at the same rate. imagine how panicked people would be if 20-30 died as often as 70+
Thank you for correcting me
It was the spanish flu that I was talking about
English is not my native language so I made a big mistake
Numbers are also tanking way lower than what anyone said
S*** looks like it’s finally winding down hopefully it’s for real this time
I have a feeling the variants everyone is worried about aren’t s***
no idea
Have you been staying inside, or have you been out and about? Also, where do you live?

I live in Cali. I don’t go anywhere except gas stations, grocery stores. Sometimes restaurants but I’m in n out of there, I don’t stay and eat at them.

Interesting. Well I hope you feel better. Stay away from your parents and grandparents. Keep hydrated.
Damn corona really fell off
people are literally over it since the vaccine rolled out
Are people that were recently sick with Covid, will also need to get a vaccine?
Virus dying down. I’m shocked tbh
I’m not getting my hopes up yet. You know God up there cookin up doing the Birdman hand rub

Probably should because the vaccines stimulate antibodies that cover different parts of the covid spike protein, which is what protects you better against the variants. It's also possible that the vaccine antibodies last longer because the initial response is so strong, but we don't know that for sure yet.
One thing I'm looking to find out is how long you should wait after infection. I do know that if you have been recently infected, they're suggesting you won't need a second dose to hit the optimal antibody titer:

dying down but my county has been getting f***ed lately. it’s mostly nursing home deaths but still. it was like 100 deaths in 3 days for a small county.

Why would April be too soon? Cases are slowing down globally

With at least the way the US has handled the pandemic/vaccine roll out and how non compliant a lot of people have been since the start of the pandemic makes me think that a month and a half is a bit too soon for the pandemic to be over

Okay yeah over is a stretch for you guys lmao but for Canada(where I live) and mostly everyone else, the next few months we should begin to see life get back to some semblance of normality
