End conclusion is gonna be that there was nothing we could do to stop the spread of Covid. It infected every country just the same no matter how many measures they took, and the only countries to stop the spread were islands with borders that were easy to close. It's a virus, it's no surprising. That being said everyone who didn't have a third wave is having one now, and once that's over the whole world sans Oz and NZ should be good

I forgot to add that Asia seems to have had some sort of preexisting immunity to an extent. For example India's numbers are amazing considering how many people live there and some of the conditions of their urban areas. Different areas have different diseases spread so it wouldn't be shocking if something that spread in Asia years ago gave people protection
