def feels a little too soon, i think we’re gonna see another jump in cases. in PA only about half of the people are vaccinated and they’re repealing all the mask mandates. you know all these motherfuckers who didn’t get the shot are gonna still take their masks off and no ones gonna check. meanwhile here in philly it’s about the same (half the people are vaccinated) and theyre still keeping the masks even outdoors for a bit. should wait til it’s at least a big majority i think.

I had covid already but I’m 1/2 on the shots.

Wearing a mask in public for the foreseeable future. It’s a minor inconvenience that reduces the chance of catching or spreading covid, regardless of vaccinations. This isn’t the first time the CDC has made drastic reductions to restrictions while the government tries to force a return to labor in tandem.

I’ll feel more confident in guidance when it’s corroborated by WHO. We still have far too little protection against more virulent covid variants. All it takes it one bad strain and a complacent population to create another massive spike in death and disease. It’s all for capital at our expense.

Have a trip end of august / early September to Disney and universal with my girl.

Getting my second shot tomorrow.

They just announced today the mask policy is no more when outside at Disney and universal (still have to wear it in lines and in attractions and indoors)

Honestly this is a relief to me lol. Was not looking forward to that in the Florida summer heat.

This will be my first vacation / trip since 2018. Things are finally a starting to get back to normal

But when I’m in Disney last august / early September… imma be honest I won’t wear it

I got my hair cut at a stylist and went to a dermatologist for cosmetics without a mask once I got vaccinated. I’m okay with not wearing a mask with friends, too. Just not when I’m in public.

I had a panic attack going to a restaurant today. Decided to go out with my fam since it was my dad's b'day, and it was PACKED. All regulations out the window. Immediately legit almost teared up because I was so nervous about being in that crowd.

My whole fam is fully vaccinated, so the CDC - and my family - seems to think we're totally safe but it felt wrong to eat inside with that many people.

I felt like a boomer that hoards food bc they've lived through the Depression
