"A small prayer that this loss will save more lives"
positivity rate/percent hospitalized graph, and the geographical difference is just startling
Speaking to that woman’s experience, you have registered nurses or greater (in medical experience) speaking nonsense about why they wouldn’t get a vaccine in this state
My mom being one of them. The black community here is just idiotic in terms of holding on to past crimes from centuries ago…and it’s a crab in bucket mentality of scared negros holding other scared negros down with their baseless claims
This mutant should be packed in one of those spaceships and sent away far from this planet
Start another species elsewhere

Yikes, that positivity rate vs vaccination rate map says it all.
Delta variant f***ing everything up
No it's not. Governments are f***ing everything up
Not only is Delta not proven to be more deadly than the regular, but it also hasn't made the vaccines ineffective
I had COVID in April, and I’ve got something now that’s absolutely cooking my ass a lot harder than COVID did. I think it’s the Delta variant cause the cases are surging, but the doctors said it’s a respiratory infection. I’ve had a damn fever for 7 days straight
I asked my doctor and they said their COVID tests wouldn’t spot the Delta variant
I went to an Urgent Care, which I usually don’t trust much, and got tested there. They said it should spot the Delta, but it came back negative there. So they’re sticking with respiratory infection. I mean it could be but god damn this s*** is trash

I got out of region family in our group chat actively trying to convince some of us to get the shot out of fear. That’s how embarrassing Alabama has become.

Sum like that was going around my way a few months ago. Like late April, early May I wanna say. I deadass had all the symptoms I did when I got the vaccine (which are obv similar to Covid) but for like 2-3 days. Throat was f***ed for like a week and a half, ears were burning

Hopefully it’s not...
Monkeypox
Lmao no rashes though.
Yet.

Probably not covid. Your chance of getting it so soon are probably super low.
A group of scientists discovered ancient viruses frozen in two ice samples taken from the Tibetan Plateau in China, and most of them are unlike anything ever seen before
this in response to realizing 60% vaccination goal will probably not be reached

Even the Delta Variant? I had read that the Delta wasn’t affected by the antibodies much at all

yeah it’s not likely you would get it especially so soon but it’s not impossible. If you’re vaccinated it would be even lower obviously
UK seems to have reached its peak.
Important to note this wave the highest daily death count so far is 96. Before the vaccine in January the peak was 1,823.

I hadn’t gotten the vaccine cause I was told I had to wait 90 days from having COVID to get it. The doctor the other day said that wasn’t true unless I had been hospitalized from it lol. Either way, gonna get it in the next few weeks here

With fewer potential vectors, surges are likely to be shorter and more localized, if more intense.

Niggas throw out tests willy nilly and wonder why case numbers increase
hospitalizations, deaths, and severe symptoms are a much better metric than cases, especially when there's so many asymptomatic people

In the south or nationwide
Cause didn’t we hit 70% of adults with one dose?
