I did all I can during the pandemic, socially distanced, stayed indoors, wore a mask in public, worked from home when I could. Got the vaccine right away when I could.

Honestly there should be a vaccine mandate, I've changed my mind. It's now at the point where people who followed everything diligently are being asked to hurt their quality of life to protect people who don't care. Basically asking me to care more about someone else's health than they do.
Anyone who didn't get the vaccine can live with the consequences but I'm not wearing a mask and hiding at home on their behalf

Maybe it is some serious milestone for some, my main gripe is that it shouldn’t change anyone’s perception on the dangers of this thing, especially when the same officials that said you need to get it, and are treating it like the primary answer, are also the ones that’s going to be approving it

It’s like 99% of a recognized, standardized solution, but if that 1% more gets more vaccinated then sure whatever. I don’t think anyone in the camp you’re describing can even say offhandedly what full approval signifies for a medicine/drug though
