Also he obsessively watched news so he like “ this man your age lost a lung died “. Like I’m fine getting two doses this year but there is no way I’m getting a shot every single year or 6 months . Also the amount of people I’ve heard of getting the vaccine then experiencing covid for first time so high . Nah. The media is only focusing on vaccines because that's what gets the clicks and views. But pharmaceutical companies like Merck, Pfizer, and Roche are already in the late stages of clinical trials for their pills. The US government has already promised to buy a supply of these pills and we already announced to spend $3.2 billion on antiviral treatment.

I think vaccines will be mandated and pushed until clinical trials are finished for antiviral treatment and there's evidence it is effective. It's not like the government is preventing antiviral treatment in favor of vaccination. The same pharmaceutical companies are invested in both.
