lol that's BS, Covid won't kill millions a year forever. We have at worst one more bad wave bc of holiday season and then it's done.

  • Sep 28, 2021

numbers should keep falling until the holidays.

There’s a fun game called Plague Inc. on the App Store. You have to create a virus that will wipe out humanity while upgrading mutating and adapting to different environments and cures the doctors try to create to stop you. If anyone is interested...

probably because america is the most resistant to the vax... and in places like France they just force you, and they did that earlier than us.

How America is disseminating data too. If they simply were fully honest about natural immunity, vitamins, nutrients, adverse effects and how those adverse effects correlated to the individuals health people would really trust them

heath people meaning nurses? they're just misled by propaganda.

and the percentage isn't that high, like 80% of US adults are vaxxed up, I think most nurses aren't in that 20%

  • Sep 28, 2021

We're in the home stretch though boys

But we talking about the spread. If more people are vaxxed then it drastically limits the spread.

You can talk about loads all you want but you a lot less likely to get it if you’re vaxxed.

If the spread is limited then there’s less possibilities for more harmful variants to be created, extending the pandemic.

It’s good you’re vaxxed, but I don’t even understand what you’re even asking at this point?

but you aren't necessary less likely to get it when you add in natural immunity and overall life long health. a Vaccine can't repair a life of bad health or a weak immune system that has relied on medicine in all cases throughout life versus someone's body who has naturally fought things off. Strengthen and in great shape. I mean even if we ever got universal health care thats a current issue even if insured. From many mindset why should they all have to pay the same even if they are healthy and often not in hospital. Same way there is a safe driving discount or they pay less for being safe. Yet in this case its just like "one size fits all" kind of necessary solution

so you really think we going to push up 18 more percent and are in the final stretch?

yes, I said 2022 way back before the vaccine even existed. We gon see. History is on our sides, we made it this far...

    Positive vibes

as for percentages? I think we can at least get to 70% once it's approved for more ages. Don't think that OSHA thing even kicked in yet btw.

No. You're less likely to develop serious illness, die, or be hospitalized. You can still carry the Coronavirus itself and you carry as much virus as those who aren't vaccinated

My question is why are niggas acting like being vaccinated is something you do for the fellow man when the whole point of the vaccine is to stop you yourself from getting sick

    Fam it’s not that complicated.

Getting vaccinated drastically limits the spread. Yes, in some rare breakthrough cases you can still catch it, but symptoms for vaccinated people are minimal at most and again this is still vary rare. Simply put, vaccinated people don’t go to the hospital and they don’t die, easing the stress on hospitals and essentially ending the pandemic.

This is not complicated. Get f***ing vaccinated.

You didn't answer s*** I asked "Does the vaccine stop the spread" and you responded with s*** about not being hospitalized which has nothing to do with my question

this why i hate talking about covid you niggas all think you sound smart

    Ok??

Dawg I don’t even understand you’re point here.

Natural immunity + vaccine = great chance of fighting the virus/preventing transmission

Poor health + vaccine = still a better/improved chance of fighting the virus than not having a vaccine

This is so simple, but the reality is the capitalist healthcare system in the US has created immense health problems for so many people. Because of this we are a nation of unhealthy people and have clearly worse healthcare outcomes then other developed countries with socialized medicine.

The damage has already been done, so we need this vaccine if we don’t want a mass number of people to die. Saying “just have a strong immune system” when people haven’t seen a doctor in years because they can’t afford it and live in food deserts with no healthy options is silly.

In short no it doesn't stop the spread if that were true we wouldn't have variants and Israel wouldn't have their issues so some just need to be honest about that. That even when or if more get vaccinated to a larger degree that the goal post will likely move again to "we need everyone to get a booster shot "

the people in food deserts with a lack of healthy options dont trust the government who reluctantly gave them money last year yet alone a vaccine created by a pharmaceutical company patented which helps their stock. I am just being honest. I mean I kind of tend to gauge on the internet who full gung ho on it. Middle Class pretty in or "what else can we do". The unvaccinated can compose some of whats viewed as lower class because they already dont trust the government. The government that will have them die of poverty in a second just not Corona. The same government that had them working for minimum wage just last year in a pandemic with no vaccine out.

We tell you this to tell you reasons why it is. I am not antivax as I have said in this thread likely getting vaccinated to see family for Thankgiving/ Christmas. If I didn't have to or wasn't guilted into it would I? Nah. As I have said countless times in this thread I would wait for an updated version or even try another country version like Cuba before our own . Do I despise America? No. But they get themselves into these predicaments where the people don't trust them

Biden is partially to blame for that there is no denying that. As well as using Fauci as a mascot for all of this rather than show a panel of Doctors and researchers. If they actually allowed a town hall or panel where doctors and researchers presented questions that are viewed as "anti vax" which are really just logical questions we would be much further along with less goal post moving and definitive answers.

However on the internet and in person the discussions just become "YOU ARE A DUMBASS JUST GET THE VACCINE YOU WERE VACCINATED AS A KID IF YOU WERENT VACCINATED FOR SCHOOL THEN WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WIPED OUT. WE CANT GET THE PLAGUE BECAUSE BLAH BLAH BLAH. THIS MANY PEOPLE DIED LAST YEAR. I STAYED IN THE HOUSE ALL LAST YEAR.We are in this together".

The problem being besides just partisan America isn't in anything together it is divided, subversive and filled with hate for questioning anything or anyone

we have already said it lowers the chance of a spread as well as the expression. Hospitals are going to stay overrun regardless especially with less nurses now and many even vaccinated nurses overworked. Police strike likely coming due to vaccines being mandated to them. this discussion isn't about "I AM RIGHT GET THE VACCINE" we arent anti vax its us thinking of the ramifications of all the things to come remaining in the year.
