ANYONE BEEN COVID FREE ALL PANDEMIC
WE OUT HERE
Yep, regularly been tested too due to caring for my grandmother
We out here
Actually we inside but you know what I mean
Cousin is stable and will be out of the ER soon
Tested negative again and so have my parents
Rest of the family that was positive all have mild symptoms since they were boosted
Entering 2022 on a high note for my family
does it make sense to get vaccinated? i was about to and have a appoinment on the 4th of january but some things dont make sense to me.
like as far as i understand, the only two reasons to get vaccinated is to either protect yourself or to not damage the whole ER thing more (which is each states fault that s*** wasnt set up good enough or/and they didnt start to focus on making that s*** better when everything about covid was clear).
else the vaccination is kinda pointless for me. hear me out. the only reason i thought about getting vaccinated is cause im about to do my driving license and have to go to a school type thing where theres like 10 - 15 people i assume. i wanted to not go there and spread the virus. heres the thing tho. if im vaccinated i can go there without any test, which means if im positive i can give covid to all 10 - 15 of them and they can spread it. if im unvaccinated i HAVE to get a test. this just seems like it makes a lot more sense to do if the goal is to avoid spreading the virus.
also another thing that doesnt make sense to me is. theres studies and everything that covid will get milder and milder and just become like a flu type of thing where if you think youre at risk you can get vaccinated. if not then not. cause a virus` goal is to survive and therefore it needs humans and therefore it doesnt want to kill humans so its able to spread itself. which means it will get so mild that its not gonna be a death threat for most healthy humans. so what the f*** they want me to take vaccines every 3 months or even more? s*** doesnt make sense to me. maybe just pharma tryna profit.
im on the fence tho, so give me your counter points if you have some.
Biden is one of those presidents from the natural disaster/apocalyptic movies that would let half the US collapse before making a decision. We need another lockdown but unfortunately he’s influenced by corporate interests.

1. We have absolutely no idea what long-term Covid looks like, but we do have evidence that vaccines protect against the most deadly symptoms. The disease will likely get milder, yes, but mild is still in comparison to “dying on a ventilator” as of now.
2. Regardless of who’s at fault for ERs not being prepared, an overwhelmed ER system means a lower standard of care for everyone. If you or your loved one get in a car accident and need emergency care, but there are no beds or resources available due to overcrowding from Covid cases, good luck.
3. The endgame here, because we didn’t act thoroughly enough with lockdowns in 2020 or with vaccine uptake in 2021, is endemicity - hopefully in 2022. The way we get there is by reaching a point at which enough people have relative immunity (which, as evidenced by omicron, no longer includes the unvaxxed recovered cases) that the healthcare system is no longer overwhelmed by surges. The earmark is roughly 70% fully vaccinated nationally; that number varies significantly based on local hospital capacity. If you want this thing to end, get your vaccines the way you have for the flu and help push us toward that number.

Wife and I tested positive for the first time ever on Monday but already vaxxed as of August
Weakness and aches the first 2 days but went away and just left with mild symptoms hoping for nothing more
Biden's plan is to let nature run it's course, then take credit when it's over, lol.
