plus if herd immunity kicks in this will mean that 30-40% of the population don't even get the virus regardless of what happens so maybe your mom would have been one of those 30-40% ynamean
UK gov plan is horrible, i hope germany doesn't do it. it only makes sense from a capitalist point of view. if you let this s*** spread, it would be over in a month in the UK, but so many people would die. sure, there would be less boomers taking pensions and s*** and there would be a quicker return to normalcy, but it would be absolutely inhumane. unfortunately i think germany might pull of s*** like that too if they cant cope with it anymore

I’d assume that most of the people who won’t get would likely live in more rural areas right?
would seem logical but for example here in germany the prime hotspot currently is a more or less rural/suburban area...maybe some people will be more susceptible to catching the virus, maybe some people will go outside less than others, or maybe as you say citydwellers will be disadvantaged because they are surrounded by more people

i went on a dumbass date on thursday crine
made sure not to touch too much s*** outside and disinfect my hands and phone and so on but it wasnt worth it
