What is lying? Not one country, except for maybe Korea, tests everyone. So there could be many more cases.
Here in The Netherlands they estimate the real number on rougly 6000. But the reported cases are in the 1100s cause those actually got tested. Also in the USA they barely test people so yeah..

There is no way china has more cases than italy when the disease even started in china. It’s just plain impossible. They have 20+ times their population.

Most countries don't lie, their testing is just terrible. It's all about ratio, you gotta compare the numbers to the total of tests that have been completed.

China is just straight up lying. They could confirm so many cases when it started and now those new numbers would lead us to believe that they literally only have the cases they report since they have enough test kits. Otherwise that could mean that they stopped the production of tests for no f***ing reason. It's obviously the former.

China already had its peak. Italy in it now. By taking all these measures other countries hope to spread it out to not get such a high peak as Italy and China before. But wouldnt be surprised they manipulate numbers too
