    I'm not personally concerned about the virus in terms of my own safety, I just wonder about what the aftermath will be for the economy/society when the dust settles

    This is bound to change the world in a big way, I just can't think of how besides the public's view on open borders (prob because we're in it now and I don't have the benefit of hindsight)

    S*** was a long time coming tbh

    Virologists were predicting a pandemic like this 2-3 years ago and said to get ready

    Health care needs to be set up so that citizens aren't afraid to go to the doctor, we need to be more self sufficient as a nation so supply lines aren't constantly in danger of disruption, etc
