there better be a pause on mortages, loans, etc worldwide like they have done in Italy, but then again why the banks do that when they can just take your s***
my familys finally starting building our home it took 5 years to get going because of financial difficulty god damn if this f***s it up my mum will be on her last legs, this house has almost swallowed her whole financially, mentally, etc
I think every Governor will come thru w/ their own solutions about rent, mortgages & or unemployment
Hopefully

Crazy how we was good a month or two ago
Then the world just flipped around...
Cant even find food in grocery stores... shelves clean..
After the panic has settled in grocery stores will begin to have more normal stocks. This should be within the next week. If you absolutely need things you should go either right at closing or right at opening, depending on when they stock. Food shortages are not and will not be an issue, it’s a lack of being prepared for this influx of demand and the overall panic.
This is going to be tough but trust that the government will find ways to correct this issue as far as rent/mortgages/reviving businesses once this is over. These are unprecedented times and there will be an unprecedented response with solutions. They are not going to let people drown.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a total forgiveness of all bills/payments owed during this time. Somehow things will be accounted for.
Honestly im not so sure that the government is really gonna help. in that bill for sick leave only 20% of workers were affected. 80% are still without it and the employer has to pay it in full.

I don’t trust Donald to help out. Wish we had a real leader in charge. Don’t trust Biden much either...
Bring back the Obamas to save us like they did in 08

Things are slowly rolling out and will slowly be accounted for and things may slip thru the cracks or not have an appropriate immediate response but they will be taken care of. It’s impossible for this to go any other way.

This isn’t the time for politics. I don’t think he is necessarily the best for this type of situation but this is a defining moment for him and for the country. I think things will be fine.
People are talking about how “poorly” things have been handled so far, but you should be thinking of all the various factors that come into this. Things need to be downplayed and made to seem unimportant at first to not cause panic. We have slowly been conditioned over the past few weeks to realize the severity of this, and it still has not been easy. Aside from that there is the economy, the markets etc. there are reasons things are done the way they are.
While an immediate shutdown a week ago would’ve been best case scenario for things to stop spreading, the consequences of that and the mass panic that would’ve ensued would’ve been far worse than the virus itself.

I am not one to be overly positive, I wouldn’t even consider myself that positive just realistic. This is not the end of the world and we will not be left to fend for ourselves. There are tough times ahead and most likely a recession but things will slowly return back to normal.
Lowkey want ye to tweet about the situation

Luckily, my mom still works and they paid the house off last year. Idk much, but my parents have money in savings, but I really don’t know how much. Still have car payments, utility, property tax, etc. to pay though.
Luckily my parents are in a situation where they have an emergency fund, but I feel so bad for all the service workers. Currently all non-essential businesses are closed until Friday, but cities like SF already shut businesses down until April 7... i
I’m truly scared of what’s to come. The virus is certainly something to worry about, but the effects are gonna be brutal
