I see what you're getting at (Jet definitely was a standout) but they all put in the work...Cho f***in got injured on set working on this show...I understand not digging the direction and deviations regarding the story but there's a lot of character work and details that they got right...I know it wasn't getting great reviews but figured with so many ppl watching that it'd at least get one more season to wrap things up

Biggest sin of the LA remake is that they over-explain the backstories, and the tone isn't right. Still enjoyed it tho.

But Vicious and Julia are given waaaaaaaaaay to much screen time.

the episode where Spike keeps repeating the same scene and then that episode with Faye's "mom" were the worst IMO...otherwise the show is pretty satisfying but I agree with your points...making Vicious into a whiny Targaryen was a poor choice and while I didn't mind the actress who played Julia and like that they at least tried to explore her character a bit more I also feel like it wasn't handled that well...and now that we aren't getting a 2nd season the ending we did get for the series is disappointing (at least we got the anime's gangster af two part finale)
