Making vicious a character you see more than twice is the worst sin of the show. It's not as bad as people are making it out to be. But there's so much more they could've done with it
Cool for one watch
And it seems like it has a much smaller budget than it does.

I think the bigger issue is the characterization of Vicious is your cliche guy with daddy issues who overcompensates with violence to make up for the fact that he's kind of a softie deep down lol I'm fine with seeing more of the character just feel like they went with a generic set up for him rather than something more unique
Live action isn’t all that bad, sure it doesn’t have that “cool” factor like the original. However, I do find this version to be funnier in a sitcom kinda way.

The Vicious/Julia stuff is the only part of the show I think is outright atrocious
I always thought Gren was trans
Not exactly. They experimented on him and it f***ed with his hormones, making him grow b****.
Haven't watched the Anime in a long ass time but this kinda fire so far
Def rewatching the Anime & movie after this tho
Somewhat enjoyed it. Thank f*** they put buddy all the way at the end. Woulda made it annoying to watch
Man vicious look like lord farquad
IMO he was miscast...dude does a decent job at best and a lot of it can be blamed on the writing but think they should have gotten an Asian actor to portray Vicious and keep him creepy and snake-like rather than a goofy, over the top psycho...basically had a tough time believing someone like Spike/Fearless would ever be best friends or close with someone like Vicious and the backstory episode didn't really do enough to sell me on it whereas in the anime it gives you very little of the backstory yet you still feel the connection and them once being friends is more believable

exactly -- the less of Vicious the better. We truly didn't need his and Julia's backstories, man... impossible to be scared of this short british motherfucker. They dropped the ball so bad there.
also idk how Mustafa Shakir nailed Jet's voice so perfectly, lol

He killed it as Jet
Best part of the show
The over the top ness would be cool if the show didnt look and feel so cheap
I watched an interview with the showrunner where they said they looked at the films that inspired the Bebop anime and let those films influence the style direction of the show...I do agree though sometimes it looks really good and other times thrown together and boring...hope they improve on that if they do get a 2nd season (it's the number 1 watched series on Netflix right now so despite some of the negative reviews I think it's likely they'll at least get one more season)
Show growing on me but cant get over the costume design for Spike
Spike? I thought his costume looked great.
SMH could have at least let them finish the story with 1 more season...why even bother greenlighting the show in the first place just to cancel it almost immediately after it airs
This is great news and hopefully puts a stop to baka gaijins trying to make further live action anime adaptations
Was gonna peep over Christmas but now I see no point
