Lyrics are great don't know how much he can really change it or add to it. I guess what you're looking for from it?

Honestly, I think if he truly put out a Fantasy level project in terms of musical depth, writing, great lyrics, most press would be quick to say “he’s back”

It’s easy to s*** on him recently because his political takes are mostly ass and his music has been only a degree above ass for a few years besides a few hits

They’re barely clear at all they could be refined and performed in a more intentional way

There are great lyrics like “do I still cross your mind/if not then never mind” but there’s much more mumble than actual discernible lyrics.

If these actually are final lyrics (I.e. it’s supposed to be “fucked up and on repeat” rather than mumble until “on repeat” then he needs to re-record and annunciate because as of now, it sounds like a ton of placeholders in an otherwise potentially great track

I guess to answer your question, I really just want him to not mumble. I’ve made this point previously: he left a bit in on Ghost Town and 24 and I still love those tracks despite the mumbled bits, but that’s because the finished parts far outweigh those moments. As of now, Get Lost and most of the album has too much mumble to not interrupt my enjoyment of the project. And I genuinely feel kind of insane for how many people seem to be not only entirely ok with the current version, but are also pulling assumed lyrics out of what I really don’t think are words. I could nitpick about the production and clipping and whatnot but I really just want to hear him use actual words.
