Palestinian OoziI’m going to keep saying this. Within hip hop culture, it’s disingenuous and hypocritical to take such an adamant stance on this and then simultaneously not have any moral urgency on the overwhelming content that should be deemed as wrong. If we’re talking right or wrong, it doesn’t make sense. Hip-Hop is very brash and offensive by nature. I’m not going to say how dare dababy say this, when I haven’t taken any stance on him having a lot of lyrics that if you apply the same logic to, you should have equal outrage. S*** is dumb lol.

You don't even realize the point that's being made here. All these niggas suddenly talking about "So it's okay for rappers to rap about killing niggas and self-hate but it's wrong to say something homophobic" as if one has anything to f***ing do with the other, and as if they aren't saying that as a means to just defend the stupid ass and wholly unnecessary s*** he said on stage.
On top of that, many of the same niggas suddenly saying that s*** don't even give a f*** about rappers rapping about killing niggas or other s*** that is harmful to the Black community themselves cause I guarantee those same niggas listening to cats like Freddie Gibbs, the dudes in Griselda, Pusha T, Rick Ross, etc.
If y'all actually cared y'all would stop listening to that or trying to find ways to defend why those dudes rap about that stuff on some "It was their upbringing!". What's really crazy is that there have been plenty of rappers and people in general who discussed that glorification of violence and d**** in rap is a problem for years, and EVERY time it's people who start going at them saying some s*** like "Oh y'all got Hollywood!"
