You don't even realize the point that's being made here. All these niggas suddenly talking about "So it's okay for rappers to rap about killing niggas and self-hate but it's wrong to say something homophobic" as if one has anything to f***ing do with the other, and as if they aren't saying that as a means to just defend the stupid ass and wholly unnecessary s*** he said on stage.
On top of that, many of the same niggas suddenly saying that s*** don't even give a f*** about rappers rapping about killing niggas or other s*** that is harmful to the Black community themselves cause I guarantee those same niggas listening to cats like Freddie Gibbs, the dudes in Griselda, Pusha T, Rick Ross, etc.
If y'all actually cared y'all would stop listening to that or trying to find ways to defend why those dudes rap about that stuff on some "It was their upbringing!". What's really crazy is that there have been plenty of rappers and people in general who discussed that glorification of violence and d**** in rap is a problem for years, and EVERY time it's people who start going at them saying some s*** like "Oh y'all got Hollywood!" "Y'all tryna talk down on the hood!" or my favorite that I've seen way too much "COON!"

And most of these rappers aren't out here doing violent s***, and the ones that are aren't doing it to the level they rap about. And the ones that actually do the f***ed up s*** they rap about, like Tay-K, end up getting called out by a lot of people. For the most part the violence is just for entertainment, no different than a TV show or movie. But the homophobia is real.

I mean.. I hear you but those guys ARE limited by their content. that’s a fact. and I don’t mean abstractly. there are places they can’t perform and they’re being constantly watched and investigated by police forces and probably the FBI.
