Holy s***, dude. Same avi and everything. I thought you retired and evolved past online forums.

haha...I stayed lurking the site, mostly to be up to date on new music etc....but just don't have the time I used to, unfortunately. But definitely looking to keep the thread updated at least every few days. I recognize a lot of the names but some I don't (I'm thinking some of you changed usernames/avi's)

    A Haunting In Paris

Paris may be the City of Light, but it is filled with dark corners. Some of the best-known ghost stories were inspired by the very real, gory history of this otherwise romantic setting. Behind – and, indeed, beneath – the picturesque Haussmanian facades lurk countless tragic tales, the protagonists of which are still said to stalk the streets… after all, a city filled with history is a city filled with ghosts.

It may be one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, but even the Eiffel Tower has a few skeletons in its closet. After courting for a period of time in the 1920s, a young couple agreed to meet at the top of the tower – but only one of them would ever leave. The two had arrived with very different intentions: he was there to propose, she was there to break up with him. But it was he who spoke first. Down on one knee, he popped the question and was promptly rejected. The story goes that he pushed her off the ledge, enraged by her response. An alternative is that she backed away in disgust and fell to her death. Whichever version of events you choose to believe, they end the same grisly way. To this day, tourists claim to hear a nervous giggle followed by an angry voice, ending with a blood-curdling scream, always in the exact same spot.

Unexplained Dead Bride Road Footage (obviously fake but good job on the creep factor)

There are several things about this video that makes it rather questionable. First of all, the video was originally unlisted. Was this a setup production or did something supernatural really happen here? One can only wonder.

The strange thing is Diego Sierra uploaded this on his YouTube channel. The channel now seems to not list any videos, but they currently have 33 subscribers. The video in question is titled: “Ghost ride in the street!!!”

Later, Chills on YouTube, put together a compilation video entitled: “11 Videos Skeptics Can’t Explain”. He mentions that the video dates back to 2008, it is listed as number 9 out of 11. The video time coincides with this, as the listing shows the video being published back on Oct 18, 2008.

The video allegedly is a found footage type video. There were 4 different men who were out one night. The exact location hasn’t been pinpointed yet, but it is assumed this took place somewhere in Columbia.

The video footage was recovered from an abandoned car somewhere. Whoever recovered it, didn’t share their name.

The Bizarre Bloodthirsty Dolls Of The Indonesian Jungle

These beings are known as ‘The Jenglot’. They are small-sized doll-like figures, believed to be a supernatural type creature. These are known to many as something like a hoax. However, others believe they are real and are something to not be reckoned with.

They come across as rather bizarre looking creatures. These figures are thought to have been discovered back in 1997, in the island of Java.

They have been discovered in many different places including being buried in the ground, inside the trunk of trees or even on top of a roof. Believed to be about several inches in size, they resemble that of a smaller human being. One can compare them to a voodoo doll.

The distinctive features of ‘The Jenglot’ are the long finger nails, long hair and sharp long fangs protruding from their mouths. Often considered to be reminiscent of a vampire, a jenglot must be fed with real human blood. Those who consider themselves masters of these dolls, will even sometimes prick their very own finger to give sustenance to them.

Whoever finds one of these jenglots, must provide for it otherwise they will encounter a darker fate in life. It is thought that if they do not provide blood for it then they will experience a series of misfortunes in life. When someone attempts to feed blood to the doll, they should not directly feed it but place the blood next to it.

It has been said that these dolls will actually come to life and drink the blood before them. Perhaps they get energized by the very life force of human blood. Animal blood is not thought to be good enough, although some have likely tried this as well.

Traditions in the region say that the jenglot were once actual human beings. Did they previously practice forbidden magic in an attempt to gain eternal life?

Once someone dies, they sometimes can be rejected by the very earth that they were buried in. This person would transform into a small-sized jenglot and seek out further life. The native shamans here have even performed various rituals to uncover the absolute truth of their existence.

Sometimes the jenglot will seemingly appear out of nowhere before certain individuals. Why this happens to a certain few is unknown. However, many do think it is supernatural related.

Is it even possible that these entities of sorts can even be captured? A number of people even think that the jenglot is a rare animals type species. Maybe even, it is all spiritual based. Science still doesn’t have an answer for these small oddities.

If they are only man-made objects, then they are able to harness something that has many spooked. Muhammad Syakir Muhammad Azmi, is a Malaysian Islamic medical practitioner.

They said that a jenglot can be fashioned with many ordinary materials. People even buy them and they fetch forth different prices, due to what they are made from including that of animal fetuses.

Likely they are man-made and do not possess any kind of powers. However, people are thought to use them as they practice black magic. They even think they will serve their master in a number of different ways (including but not limited to) being a good luck charm or wrecking havoc upon their enemies in this existence or the next.

Woman captures a strange figure while on a video call to her best friend

This video and story was first shared around 8 months ago, its very strange indeed.

Mum-of-four Lori Simmons was video chatting on an app called Marco Polo, which allows users to record videos to each other in real time.

The 47-year-old from Yakima, Washington, USA, said she had just woken up and was chatting with her best friend Shana Thomas – but was left horrified when Shana asked if there was somebody in the house with her.

Lori – who claims to have been home alone at the time – said her ‘heart stopped’ after she replayed the chilling footage and witnessed a dark figure dash in and out behind her while she spoke to Shana.

The store manager said: “I’d only just moved into my apartment, so I was video chatting with my friend to show her around and I was just talking about general things. It was nothing out of the ordinary.

“We were using an app called Marco Polo, which is like a video walkie talkie. You can hit the start button to record, and others can watch you in real time like a regular video call. You can then replay it.

“But all of a sudden, her face got really serious and she asked if someone was in the house with me.

“I live alone but I instantly looked around because it was so weird the way she said it and it really frightened me.

“I told her I was home alone. She looked pretty shocked and told me to watch my video again to see what I thought. She said it was like someone was following me around the house.

“So I watched it, and my heart jumped into my throat. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“It was so scary. It sent chills down my spine, and just shocked me so much.

“I’ve had lots of paranormal experiences in my life, but nothing quite like this.

“I’ve only cried twice in my entire life from things that I’ve seen, but this did make me cry.”

Lori said she was so frightened by what she saw that she decided to stay at her daughter’s house for the night – and the next day had the house ‘cleaned and blessed’ by a spiritual friend.

The mum added her new house, which was built in 1935, is located in the oldest part of town and is situated right next to both a hospital from the early 1800s and a nursing home.

Lori believes the figure to be the ghost of a ‘prankster’ teenage boy – but is also open to the idea of it being an alien.

And despite the horrifying ordeal, the mum is determined to stay in her new home.

She said: “I showed the video to people at my work and they actually screamed. That scared me, to see their reactions.

“I believe it was the spirit of a teenage boy, maybe 13 or 14 years old.

“But many people have said they think it’s an alien. I definitely believe in aliens, so it’s certainly a possibility.

“People have told me to move out, but you can’t run from these types of things.”

Jewellery maker Shana, 46, was on the video chat with her best friend Lori at the time and said she ‘couldn’t believe her eyes’ when the figure appeared.

She added: “I seriously thought someone was walking behind her, like a human child.

“I watched this all happen in real time on the app. I saw this thing peek around the corner at me as if to see if we were still talking.

“I’ve watched this video probably 1000 times and it still creeps me out. I kind of felt like it wanted to be seen, almost playful.

“I believe it was the spirit of someone who has passed and wants to be acknowledged.

“It was very startling to see. I can’t stop thinking about it.”

TV with no plug turns itself on inside an abandoned military building -- check the link as not youtube so can't embed

Shocking footage captured a TV allegedly turning itself on in a powerless derelict house that once belonged to a serviceman.

Zenith Chien, a self-proclaimed seeker of paranormal activities often streams his adventures on Facebook under the online persona Yao Yao.

However, in his latest video, Zenith got more than he bargained for while exploring the home of a former Republic of China military man.

His late-night adventures took him to an abandoned residence in Daliao District on 29th September in Taiwan’s southwestern port city of Kaohsiung, where there is a large concentration of military dependents’ villages.

Mr Chien’s live stream, which lasted over 27 minutes, shows him exploring one of the homes last occupied by the widowed owner who herself passed away in 2016.
Most of the house’s furniture, appliances and even kitchen utensils had been left in their places.

He then comes across a switched-on TV, but it soon gets very creepy.

“F**k! Why is the TV on? No, really? Why did the TV turn on by itself? It turned on by itself.

“How is there even electricity in a place like this? There is no electricity!” he says, testing the light switches.

After walking over to the TV, he realises the plug to the has been removed.

The spooky happenings quickly heard Zenith saying: “Sorry, sir.

“You watch your TV. I’m leaving.”

He then ends the live stream by announcing: “That’s it. That’s all for today.”

How the television managed to turn on by itself despite the apparent lack of power is still a mystery.

Mr Chien said the incident severely traumatised him and left him with unusual red-eye for several hours.

He said he went to pray at his local temple after the scare.

The villages known in Chinese as ‘juancun’ were built by the Republic of China military in the late 1940s and 1950s as provisional housing for members of the armed forces and their dependents following defeat to Chairman Mao’s Red Army and the nationalist government’s retreat to the island in 1949.
As many of the former servicemen have now died, their former homes remain abandoned and often neglected by their descendants who see no value in maintaining the properties.

Haunted doll is heard saying 'I want to burn your eyes'

A ghost hunt in Wales has left paranormal investigators chilled to the bone after a doll was herd saying “I want to burn your eyes out”.

Since the terrifying moment the doll has been branded the “most haunted item” in the UK.

As reported by North Wales Live , in the video, Mr Moss can be seen holding a Crucifix before asking “what do you want to burn?”

The voice chillingly replies “your eyes”.

The voice was captured on an “S Box” which scans white noise while blocking out any radio interference.

They believe the spirit of a witch from the 1600s, attached itself to the doll during a ghost hunt at Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin.

It is now kept in a glass box as they are unsure what supernatural powers it has.

Another video recorded on a camera left in an unattended room picks up a knocking noise and the same voice saying “release”.

Mr Moss said: “Hearing it say it wanted to burn my eyes was terrifying at the time and to have members of the public along with us who witnessed it was just crazy.

“What is also significant is that a few years ago we also captured a voice saying something along the lines of reap your eyes and a number of people have had the sensation of their eyes burning but we never thought too much of it until this incident.

“We believe this doll gained its attachment in Ruthin and over the last few months we have recorded some good evidence including knocking sounds and the same voice several times which has been captured and heard in real time.

“We’ve had knocking sounds and a voice saying release me which was captured on the box and the camera shows nobody else was in the room.

“It is interesting as it is always three knocks wherever we take the doll and always the same voice.”

Mr Moss has compared the Grace doll to the famous Annabelle doll which has been the subject of a series of horror films.

The first Annabelle film was released in 2014 as a prequel to The Conjuring, and the latest movie in the series “Annabelle Comes Home” hit UK theatre screens yesterday (Friday).

The supernatural horror film is inspired by the story of a raggedy Anne doll which was given to a student nurse in America in the 1960s. It is said to have been demonically possessed by a young girl called Annabelle Higgins.

House abandoned by its owners because they hear screaming from the basement (I'd be out real quick)

There is a house in a Welsh town at the centre of a mystery which has seen its owners fleeing the country in utter terror.

So petrified are they about the sounds they can hear underneath their home that they refuse to step foot inside it ever again.

The police have been called but the sound of screaming coming from underneath the basement has not been identified.

But they are convinced there is something going on below the ground.

The claims may sound outlandish, like something from a Hollywood horror, but there are recordings that the owners have made, inside the property, which they say prove the existence of a dark, sinister secret.

It all started one night in June 2018.
The owners, Alan and Christine Tait, were up late at the Ammanford house when the latter went to the kitchen to make a coffee. While stood over the kettle, she was convinced that she could hear strange noises, and went to inform her husband.

Women and children screaming, heavy knocking and men talking in a foreign language were just some of the sounds that disturbed the couple to the point where, within weeks, they would leave their home of 11 years and vow not to return.

They had no idea where the noises were coming from, but they were coming from somewhere, so they set out to investigate.

“It was like a flushing noise that I heard first,” says Christine Tait from the couple’s camper van that they now live in.

“I told Alan about it and that I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. He left his phone in the bathroom with the recorder on to try to pick up the source of the noise, and then we could hear a machine running.

“We started to record all over the house, and we picked up the sounds of chains, a motorbike starting, and people screaming.”

It soon became apparent to Mr and Mrs Tait, both 62, that the noises were of a subterranean nature.

They appeared to be coming from the kitchen area. Not directly underneath the kitchen, but underneath the basement that sits below it.

Eager to discover more, Mr Tait dug two 1.5 metre channels into the walls and placed recording equipment inside the shafts created.

In his own words, the sounds he picked up included “a woman screaming, sexual sounds, dogs barking, a printing press running, a motorbike, a car horn honking and what sounds like a police siren”.

The couple have hundreds of hours of recordings containing different sounds, all of which they claim are coming from underneath their house.

The ordeal has upset them so much that they now travel around the UK trying to spread the word about “what is going on” in Ammanford.

“Hundreds of people have been in touch with us and agreed that this needs to be properly looked at,” says Mr Tait.

“All I really want is an explanation. Why are there people screaming? There must be something going on. We have placed microphones all over the place, because we wanted to prove or disprove what we were hearing.

“Were these noises coming from the main road? Were they coming from a park?

    Vintage Halloween Costumes

They make the rounds every year: Collections of black-and-white photos — typically depicting children, although the occasional teen or young adult also shows up from time to time — all dressed up in their Halloween best. But the photos are old: Decades old, some perhaps even depicting people who are no longer with us. And with their age comes a peculiar and unique quality — a truth which cannot be denied: Vintage Halloween costumes are straight-up terrifying — even when they’re not meant to be.

Seems kinda fake and dramatized, but it also begs the question: why go thru this much trouble to be fake? The setting looked pretty legit, like I can't imagine someone would purposely make their property look like it survived many earthquakes without cleaning up. Doesn't seem like there's a second person... Tbh, the quality is so s*** you can't really see the TV 'plug' so that could honestly be anything.

Assuming he doesn't have a remote control or something and this is all legit (wheres the 27 min footage btw )

Tube TVs do tend to have huge capacitors in them that hold great amounts of energy for literally years, possibly decades. I'm talking enough energy to actually zap and kill you if you touch it wrong. I know for a fact this is a thing in really old electronics and TVs (like 60s, 70s, etc) it could be different in these newer CRTs, but I doubt it. I think it could be possible that he was just in the right place at the right time to witness a temporary power displacement from these components or something.

As far as if the energy contained in those capacitors is enough to power the TV for as long as it did, I'm not sure tbh. My educated opinion would lean more towards no...

So if this is actually legit, pretty chilling coincidence.

If my science is wrong and this is legit... Pretty bone chilling.
