pretty crazy that they haven't released any of his films. Even if the rights for his bigger ones are harder to acquire at least some of less popular or some of his docs shouldve found there way into the collection at this point

Apichatpong Weerasethakul definitely. I think some of his films are on the channel. Start with Syndromes and a Century or Tropical Malady.
What do you guys make of the theories that the KGB had Tarkovsky killed?
too elaborate for the USSR. they'd just straight up kill him instead of giving him and the rest of the crew and cast cancer. not sure how shooting permits worked there and if they intentionally sent him to film the zone scenes in estonia but i guess he picked it himself
