Army of Shadows was great. Love the lighting and staging in many of the scenes.
I’ve seen Le Samourai, anything else from Melville you guys recommend I see asap?
Le Doulos, Bob le Flambeur, and Leon Morin Priest

There's a "Leaving (insert month here)" section on the channel where films are going to be leaving before expiration. Once it hits the final date after midnight, it's all gone.
Most of the films on the channel are there for maybe 2-3 or more months depends on their rights to the films.

O nice, would be a shame if you had to miss so many great pictures.
Watching Dekalog currently, the Criterion blu ray is incredible! the colours and shots in some of these are simply beautiful.
6 has been my favourite so far
Five was my favourite and that's where I stopped that sounds interesting. Taking my time to fully savour every episode.
Bruh facts Kieślowski and his use of colours one of the most undeniable beauties of cinema.
has anyone seen mike leigh's naked? i watched it last night and I hated it. idk if I am missing the point but main character was a d***head the whole time? (obv intentional) idk i just wanna know why it has such as high rating

one of my all time favs. idk how to defend it tho. you either like it or u dont. i take the movie as a cautionary tale.
got done going thru my sternberg/dietrich boxset and it's fantastic
that'll be great if they can get a hold of another Sternberg film called An American Tragedy (1931) to be restored tbh
