was able to watch Watermelon Woman just now been meaning to watch that one and it was p great. Cheryl Dunye is a big vibe

apparently not region-restricted either, I'm in Germany. I did get a weird error at first (about an external monitor...), but going to the source code (CTRL+U) and looking for the video link there (CTRL+F "vimeo") solved it.

what's interesting to me is Stroheim's Greed is now in public domain after 96 years. It's kind of left in uncertainty that it's hard to find a copy. I wonder either WAC or Criterion could pick this up and restore for preservation purposes.

Watched La Notte last night and apart from the cinematography and writing which were incredible, nothing else quite gripped me, maybe I’ll rewatch in 25 years if my marriage is going through turmoil

I’m all in for the release of Pixote, I’ve been waiting for that one for some years now.

I honestly haven’t liked any of the Antonioni films I’ve seen so far they’ve all felt pretentious (a word I never use) and self indulgent. Red desert, the passenger, and blow up were all hard to finish

probably, prime day might be it. amazon a no go for me tho

was gonna cop from wowhd to dodge imports and shipping fees
did the math and even with 50% sale the average crit would be like $46 because amazon is charging like 60 dollars for shipping and a 25% sales tax is slapped on when it gets here

only gonna get a few regardless through wowhd tho. i promised to nut on the le samouraï case and post pics to some guys
