I can understand that viewpoint too honestly. To me PP&DS just felt like a true evolution of Cudi an artist, the same way he evolved from MOTM1 to MOTM2. Outside of 3-4 tracks, to me, much of MOTM3 just felt like kind of a regression. It felt like MOTM3 comes between MOTM1 and MOTM2 whereas PP&DS felt like the next step for Cudi after MOTM2 if that makes any sense.
