It’s not him taking influence from him that’s the issue. It’s the fact there’s been a false narrative built around it being the entire sound of the album when it’s not even 25% of the album and I have to sit here and defend it against airheads who go “UHHHHH DURRRRR MOTM3 A TRAV ALBUM OMG PPDS WAS THE REAL ALBUM DURRRRR”

Theres a difference between saying

"Travis inspired Cudi" and "Cudi is doing an average Travis impression"

MOTMIII wasn't amazing, it didn't match the first two but it wasn't very Travis esque besides that one song.

The initial tweet is disrespectful af don't try to downplay it by saying he was talking inspiration

Idk how much he has impersonated Trav style on the album since the album was forgettable to me but I remember cringing when he tried to do the adlibs Trav style and he didn't sound great with the autotune stuff either and he's done that on quite a few tracks
