I don’t really care if people think the album is ass. I might disagree, but having an opposing opinion is never a problem.

It’s when you start spreading false harmful narratives to back up your subjective opinion that it becomes a problem. Like a previous user said, there’s a clear difference in “Cudi took influence from Travis Scott” and “this album was a bad Travis Scott impression”. Yes Trav old s*** was heavily influence by Cudi but Trav has developed a specific sound and adlib that many have copied since. Cudi is one of them

Outside of the ad libs I don’t see what ur talking about. I can find autotune cudi songs from 08-09 that do what he did on this album. The beats just aren’t the same. Cudi has always used autotune.

Course Cudi used autotune. Everyone uses it a different way. It's the way it's used but like I said in my og post that I never said this whole album is an imitation of trav but whenever Cudi does do it, it's not great to me

As I’ve told a couple other users, there’s only 3 songs on the album that actually have Travis influence out of what, 18 or 19?

Respectfully, I feel like it’s not your place to comment on the sound of the album when you don’t even remember what the album sounds like outside of cringing about a few of the adlibs. Just saying.

Cudi just didn’t use that sound a whole lot but he has songs with that drowned out autotune singing or rapping before. Well before Travis ever came out.

What exactly has Travis done that’s unique anyway? His “sound” is a clusterfuck of other artists not his own creation. People need to stop championing him like he’s an originator of anything. He’s a great emulator.

I guess Im just mad that cudi did what he wanted on MOTM3 I hoped he would expand abit on that KSG sound. Thats just me.

What I think is weird is his fans denying the trav influence. Like trab is a notorious audio terrorist you fan steal from his style I got no problem. Denying it is the weird part.
