Essentially Paul is saying in the politically correct way that “niggas” don’t listen to Kid Cudi and subsequently he don’t have that type of support from niggas in the city. Which may be true as a nigga who loves 08-2011 Cudi.

If he wanted more “non alt/weirdo” fans he shoulda kept making music like AKNC but that’s another story. He coulda had the Taylor Gang fanbase but he had the GOOD Music blog era real hip hop “pretentiousness/aura” built in to his s*** to where it could have gone farther but again another story.

The thing about him tryna make it seem like Cudi s***ting on the city by overcharging a Jake Paul fight performance is lame on Rich behalf though. Posturing something that would have just benefitted you and your business interests as a slight to the entire city

Cudi is right. I've seen ppl say similar things about cudi (Doe Boy specifically) but yall know like we all know. Kid cudi not finna be in no club or in the streets of cleveland. not even his style. I'm from Cincinnati (4 hours south) and cudi is the best artist to ever come from Ohio to me

Rich Paul is spot on. Streets of Cleveland do not claim Kid Cudi, not the way they claim Jake Paul. Go to any hood in Cleveland, f*** it any hood in Ohio and disrespect one of the Paul brothers, I dare you. Just make sure you take out some life insurance first.

as a clevelander, everybody would love to see him more ofc but he’s absolutely done a lot for the city

it actually blows my mind to hear somebody say he doesn’t do anything for the city when he brought the only urban festival to the city and booked some local artists this year before it was cancelled.

also cudi rapped about cleveland so much and repped it hard when literally no other popular rapper was from the city. whenever i meet someone and talk about cleveland rap the first thing they’ll mention is bone and cudi every time

I feel him but again this is why I think the “he doesn’t do stuff for Cleveland” is rich’s political way of saying something else about how the demographic he probably grew up around truly feels about his music
