i just wish he'd go back to his regular voice he had on the earlier projects. this over-nasal voice effect thing he did on Damn makes that album hard to listen to sometimes

consensus wise tpab is considered as much better, for legitimate reason. Some people are just expressing their personal enjoyment they have for a specific album, nothing more. Uusually these people know tpab is still the superior album

100% agree. I was listening to The Heart Pt 1 and Poe Man’s Dreams the other day and yeah I don’t think that’s a Kendrick we’ll ever hear again. He used to just be hungry to rap and now he’s far more concerned with artistry. That’s not a bad thing but it’s definitely a different style. I think the last song we got from Kendrick with that spark was The Heart Pt 3 and that might be one of the best rap songs of all time imo. Still love Kendrick but I like him most when he’s on his purist s*** like Duckworth. Hopefully he does more of that in he future.
