He stands for it without doing it in his music

What he decides to express in his art has nothing to do with his stances or views

I can imagine he’s tried to write a verse or a song that was super politically charged but it just didn’t pan out

I mean I don’t really see how he’d lose much. White people are the biggest consumers of hip hop even with artists like Kendrick and Cole.

Look how much Drake sells in comparison to Kendrick and Cole

If Drake did TPAB numbers, they'd say he flopped

You can keep defending him all you want bro truth is he’s never really spoken about politics or other public matters because he doesn’t want to alienate anyone from streaming tiktok slide

Also imagine caping this hard for a celebrity

F***ing post Malone of all people even had the decency of saying something

If you didn’t do your research thats on you and your ignorance
Imagine basing an argument on bullshit
Good for post malone but im not sure why thats relevant to this

ok what's this obsession with Drake having to be political or making conscious music.
Doesn't make him any less great.
Damn cant believe ya'll got me over here actually defending Drake
artist like Nelly and 50 were huge without making anything political or socially conscious music.
Man just makes music for people who want to have a good time, or reflect on past relationships and loves. Something music has been about for decades now

Some of y’all are too worry about what celebrities are or aren’t doing and spend the whole day arguing on KTT

Go out and protest or donate or do something more productive invoking this issue instead of worrying what another man/women is doing or not

OVO sound, OVO, and Drake have all donated a lot of money and Drake is using his platform on social media promoting this issue/movement. I don’t see any of y’all doing anything but talking s*** on an online forum. Like others have said, it’s not really his thing and it never was. Would it be nice if he did? Yea that would be very cool, but doesn’t have to and that’s also fine

People are out protesting trying to make a genuine change and you guys are here giving 11 pages to a bait topic

What more do yall want from celebs? Is donating money and spreading awareness through their social platforms not enough? Should they rent a football stadium and write a 3 hour speech and then at the end of it announce theyre donating their entire net worth?

He could have more socially conscious tracks if he wanted to, Nice For What was a #1 hit after all, not his lane I guess
