Reason why it’s like that is because you can see your entire body, where about in most games in FP you’re basically a floating camera.

The only other major AAA game with full body autonomy in FP is GTA V and RDR2, and those have the RAGE engine animations/physics, so in that case you’d get the flailing and such.

Obviously expecting something like that in a game as complex as this would be ridiculous and require a completely new animation system to be written for the game.

And current/last gen consoles couldn’t possibly handle it.
